UL listing is for safety, specifically on temperature and fire. All ICC plastic products have safety rating tested and registered with 3rd party companies like UL and ETL. ICC Metal Products are not UL Listed because it is not necessary to test for temperature and fire rating on metal products. Most of our competitors that offer UL listed metal products have received the UL listing years before that are grandfathered in. Spec jobs may require UL listed metal products that we will have to walk away because ICC doesn’t go after spec jobs.
