Description
Cablesys (CBS) pre-terminated fiber cassette patch panel systems provide a structured method for installing fiber patch panels in data centers and network environments. The system uses factory-terminated fiber cable assemblies and snap-in cassettes that allow patch panels to be installed and connected without field termination.
This model provides cassette-to-cassette connectivity between patch panels using LC-to-MPO fiber assemblies (Model PFD). Each cassette presents LC fiber connections on the front of the panel while the rear connects through MPO fiber connectors to the cable assembly.
Cable assemblies are available in multiple fiber types including OM4 10G multimode, OM3 10G multimode, 50/125 multimode, 62.5/125 multimode, and single-mode fiber. Assemblies are factory terminated with LC fiber connectors on the front and MPO connectors on the rear, and are available with OFNR riser-rated or OFNP plenum-rated fiber optic cable.
Each fiber patch panel assembly is manufactured and tested to meet TIA industry performance standards before shipment. The snap-in cassette design allows the system to be installed quickly between racks while supporting moves, adds, and changes without field termination.
Cablesys pre-terminated fiber cassette patch panel systems are assembled in Southern California and include a 15-year end-to-end performance warranty.
The CBS pre-terminated fiber cassette patch panel system is similar in concept to the QuickNet® cassette pre-terminated patch panel system. CBS systems are available directly from the manufacturer and are assembled in Southern California with typical lead times of less than two weeks.
