What is the meaning or purpose of the “V” mark on ICC HD jacks?

When the installer is using ICC JackEasy™ tool (ICACSPDTEH) to terminate HD modular jack, the connector orientations is important for proper termination.  The “V” mark on ICC HD jacks must line up with the “V” mark on JackEasy tool base.
