CAT6 Connectivity for Open Work Areas and Temporary Setups

Network connections are not always needed next to an existing wall outlet. Warehouses, training areas, temporary workspaces, and protected field setups can require wired CAT6 connectivity in locations away from permanent building infrastructure.

ICC’s 6-Port CAT6 Mobile Patch Box provides a termination point that can be positioned closer to the work area. The box includes a built-in CAT6 module for standard 4-pair UTP CAT6 cable and provides six network ports in one enclosure.

Flexible Placement

The Mobile Patch Box can sit directly on the floor, mount to a wall or plywood, or attach to a metal surface with optional ICC magnets. These mounting options make it useful for changing work areas and temporary installations where a conventional wall outlet is not practical.

Applications include warehouses, classrooms, training areas, telecom spaces, temporary work areas, and protected field setups such as military and government operations.

Built-In CAT6 Termination

Instead of individual keystone jacks, this model uses a built-in CAT6 termination module. Cable pairs terminate on 110-type IDC contacts inside the enclosure. The housing also includes dust covers, strain relief, and cable-routing features to protect the connections during installation and service.

The CAT6 Mobile Patch Box is TAA and Section 889 compliant for government and institutional procurement.
