ICC Elite Installer Completes 111-Drop Cabling Project for Manufacturer in Tempe, Arizona

iccSuccess Stories

An ICC Elite Installer completed a 111-drop structured cabling project for a manufacturer in Tempe, Arizona. The family-owned Arizona contractor used ICC CAT6 and CAT6A cable, keystone jacks, patch panels, and patch cords across the system.

The project used 22,000 feet of cable total, with 19 boxes of CAT6 cable and 3 reels of CAT6A cable. The system also included blank 48-port patch panels, rear cable management bars, faceplates, surface-mount boxes, and blank inserts for unused faceplate ports.

Blank patch panels were used. The installer chose a modular design that supports easier MACs in the horizontal cross-connect. The mix of CAT6 and CAT6A also fits a buildout where CAT6A cable is used for backbone runs while CAT6 supports the horizontal portion of the system.

The end user is a manufacturer in the dental space with products tied to implant, CAD/CAM, and digital dentistry workflows, where stable network performance supports connected equipment, software, and day-to-day operations.

This project was registered for ICC’s 15-Year Performance Limited Warranty and warranted to TIA channel spec.
