AL – An ICC Elite Installer was awarded a cabling contract for a warehouse in Florence, Alabama, to enhance its communication infrastructure. The installer constructed a network using a CAT6 structured cabling system, including 100,000 feet of CAT6 riser cable and 50,000 feet of CAT6 plenum cable with 250 wall-mount J-hooks. They installed 1,800 blue keystone connectors, blank patch panels that accommodate up to 1,440 ports, and single-gang faceplates that provide 600 ports at the wall outlets. The installation enabled 1,620 data drops, ensuring efficient connectivity throughout the warehouse.
Upon completing the installation, the Elite Installer tested and passed the system to TIA® spec.
