Health Care Facility Installs CAT6 Structured Cabling System

ICC Success Stories

VT – A health care facility that provides home health and hospice care to the surrounding area of Vermont and New Hampshire.  They recently hired an ICC Certified Elite Installer to install a Category 6 cabling system into their two-story building.  The Certified Elite Installer installed 377 drops.  Each outlet was configured with CAT6 keystone jacks. The installer pulled 4900 feet of ICC CAT6 Riser rated premise cable throughout the building.  Galvanized steel J-Hooks and raceway routed cables in few areas.  In the telecommunications room, a 2-Post distribution rack was floor mounted and installed with a CAT6 48-port patch panel.  Ladder rack runway routed overhead cables that entered from the ceiling.  Vertical and horizontal finger duct panels managed the cable on the rack.  The project also required a rack mount enclosure to be installed with three 6-Fiber ST fiber optic adapter panels.  After the installation, the Certified Elite Installer emailed us their ICC Lifetime Performance Warranty form along with a copy of their invoices and the CAT6 test data to register the cabling system.  We verified the data passed TIA performance standards and issued a Lifetime Proof-of-Warranty certificate within 24 hours in order for the installer to be paid.
