Television Station Installs CAT6 Structured Cabling System

ICC Success Stories

CA – A CBS-affiliated television station, recently hired an ICC Elite Installer to install a Category 6 cabling system into its 49,000 square feet building located in San Diego, California.  The Elite Installer installed 589 drops and pulled a total of 129,000 feet of ICC CAT6e CMR Premise Cable throughout the building.  The permanent link cabling system was installed from end-to-end, jack to patch panel.  The installer configured two-port and four-port faceplates with CAT6 keystone jacks and positioned them in the work areas.  The 48 and 24-port CAT6 patch panels were installed in the equipment room to act as the horizontal cross-connect.  The 78-inch double-sided finger duct panels were mounted on racks to route a large number of cables from the equipment room.  After installation, the Elite Installer emailed ICC the 15-year performance warranty registration form with their invoices to register the cabling system.  We issued proof-of-certificates within 24 hours and because of the total volume, they will earn 2% back in rewards.
