US Internal Revenue Services (IRS) Installs CAT6 Structured Cabling System

ICC Success Stories

NY – The US Internal Revenue Services (IRS) located in Cheektowaga, NY recently hired an ICC Elite Installer for a project.  The project required to upgrade a structured cabling system to Category 6 performance. The installer pulled over 80,000 feet of blue, plenum cable. The REELEX II tangle-free coiling, pull box design, and big payout tube made this step easy. Next, they wired and terminated close to 400 drops. The installer configured CAT6 keystone jacks into 3-Port black faceplates and 48-Port blank patch panels. Then they installed faceplates and panels in the work area and telecommunication room respectively. Most importantly, the installer decided to increase their profit margin by purchasing in bulk. ICC offers various products in ValuePacks to help lower the cost per unit and reduce packaging waste. The installer chose keystone jacks in 25-pack and 400-pack. As a bonus, each 400-pack carton came with a free JackEasy termination tool. The installer also purchased finger duct panels in six-pack to help route cable coming into the distribution rack. Best of all, their purchases of ICC products reach over $10K, which qualifies them to earn 2% back in rewards.
