Insurance Provider Installs CAT6 Structured Cabling System

ICC Success Stories

TX – A well-known local insurance provider in the Carrollton, Texas area recently hired an Elite Installer to update their current network cabling system to support Gigabit Ethernet.  The Elite Installer installed 344 drops and pulled a total of 70,000 feet of ICC CAT6 Plenum rated Premise Cable throughout the two-story, 14,900+ square feet building.  2-port, 6-port, and NEMA style furniture faceplates in white were configured with CAT6 keystone jacks and installed in the work areas.  Blank white inserts were used to fill unused ports until future expansion.  J-Hooks were mounted along walls to route cables from the work areas to the telecommunications room.  In the telecom room, the installer configured high-density blank patch panels with CAT6 keystone jacks and mounted them onto racks.  Each panel can hold up to 48 jacks and fit within one rack mount space.  To help organize patch cords being routed from the front of the patch panels, horizontal finger duct panels were installed.  After installation, the Elite Installer emailed ICC the 15-year performance warranty registration form with their invoices to register the cabling system.  We issued proof-of-certificates within 24 hours in order for the installer to get paid.  Best of all, their purchases of ICC products reach over $10K, which qualifies them to earn 2% back in rewards.
