IL – An ICC Certified Elite Installer was awarded a voice, data, and video (VDV) cabling contract for forty new multi-family homes. The installer chose to install ICC’s Residential Structured Cabling System. They installed 14-inch residential wiring enclosures to manage and distribute cables and connectivity from one central location. Each enclosure came equipped with VDV modules to network up to eight telephones, eight computers or Ethernet devices, and six televisions. The outlets in the living areas consisted of single-gang faceplates configured with CAT 6 keystone connectors and 2 GHz F-Type video jacks.
After the installation, the installer tested and passed the system’s permanent link to TIA® spec.
