CA – An ICC Certified Elite Installer was awarded a Category 6 (CAT 6) data cabling contract from a medical center in California. The installer upgraded the network with an ICC CAT 6 structured cabling system. The project included pulling 161,000 feet of 500MHz CAT 6 bulk cable, routing the cables along walls using J-Hooks and D-Rings, installing 300 CAT 6 keystone connectors at the outlets, and installing 48-Port CAT 6 patch panels at the cross-connect. After the installation, the installer tested the system’s permanent link to pass TIA® spec.
