A Restaurant Chain Awards a Cabling Contract to an ICC Elite Installer

ICC Success Stories

GA – An ICC Elite Installer was awarded a cabling contract from one of Georgia’s largest quick-service restaurant chains. The project required the data and voice communication network to be upgraded for multiple locations.

The installer ran two cabling systems at each location; Category 5e (CAT 5e) for data and 66-wiring for voice. The connectivity consisted of CAT 5e cableCAT 5e patch panels in 24 and 48 ports, CAT 5e keystone connectorsVoice keystone connectors, and 66-wiring blocks. Existing infrastructure and racks supported the additional cabling and equipment. Finger duct panels and a five-foot ladder rack runway were added to the main distribution frame to run cable vertically and overhead to the wall. 2-inch J-Hooks were used to run cable along walls from the telecom closet to the work areas. Approximately 3200+ keystone jacks were terminated and configured into stainless steel faceplates and surface mount boxes at the work area outlets.

After the installation, the installer tested and passed the system’s permanent link to TIA® spec.
