Description
ICC CAT6A foiled twisted pair (U/FTP) Ethernet patch cords are component-rated and ETL verified to ANSI/TIA-568-C standards, supporting performance up to 500 MHz and UL listed for safety compliance. Constructed with 26 AWG stranded bare copper conductors and individual foil shielding, these CAT6A patch cords help maintain signal integrity while reducing crosstalk, return loss, and alien crosstalk in shielded structured cabling systems. The U/FTP shielded design helps reduce EMI/RFI interference for stable network performance. Shielded 8P8C modular plugs with 50 micro-inch gold-plated contacts support reliable connections, while low-profile, snagless boots protect the latch and support high-density patching and frequent moves, adds, and changes. These CAT6A patch cords are backward compatible with Category 6 and Category 5e U/FTP or shielded cabling systems and are available in 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, and 25-foot lengths in black, blue, gray, green, orange, red, white, and yellow.
Features
- NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE (NEC) COMPLIANT: Built with 100% stranded pure bare copper conductors, meeting NEC Section 800.179, which mandates that “Conductors in communications cables, other than coaxial, shall be copper.” Rated for 75°C and 300V, CAT6A patch cables support stable network communications while supporting PoE++ applications
- PoE++ TYPE 4 RATED PATCH CABLE: CAT6A Ethernet patch cables are built with stranded 24 AWG pure copper conductors and support Power over Ethernet (PoE++) Type 4 up to 100W, suitable for IP cameras, wireless access points, and other high-power network devices. ETL and UL listed for safety and compliance
- TIA-COMPLIANT 10G PERFORMANCE: CAT6A patch cables are wired to T568B and factory tested to meet TIA performance standards, supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps and 10GBASE-T Ethernet with bandwidth up to 500 MHz for structured cabling environments
- 50 MICRO-INCH GOLD-PLATED CONTACTS: Contacts are plated with 50 micro-inches of gold over phosphor bronze to resist corrosion and support repeated plug-to-jack insertion cycles
- SHIELDED CAT6A CONSTRUCTION: U/FTP design with individually foiled twisted pairs and shielded RJ45 plugs helps reduce EMI and alien crosstalk in 10-Gigabit network installations
- INDOOR USE: Designed for indoor network installations using PVC jacket material. Not intended for outdoor or direct burial applications
